Information Security Officer

Due to continued growth, we have an immediate requirement for an Information Security Officer.
Working at senior level, you will be accountable for all security-related event monitoring, log reviews, analysis, reporting and hands on security implementations.
Established in your field, you will already have an excellent understanding of IT Security principles
and operate as that of a trusted advisor within the organisation.
To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate 8+ years industry expertise and have the ability to demonstrate how you have previously managed, maintained and improved processes and procedures.
Key responsibilities and experience required:
- Hands-on experience on McAfee EPO, HIPs, MOVE, Encryption, device control, NDLP, HDLP
- Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues in line with ITIL methodologies
- Background in supporting enterprise and complex networks
- Expertise with LAN/WAN and Network Security
- Knowledge of Bluecoat Proxies
- Knowledge of firewall and network technologies
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 8.1)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems (Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 R2)
- Background with enterprise project delivery (deployments, migrations and integrations)
- Ensure SLA' are adhered to and communicated effectively
- Ability to engage stakeholders and build/maintain business relationships
- Scripting/programming skills desirable
- Malware/Forensic analysis desirable
- Risk management knowledge
- Knowledge of SIEM solutions
- Knowledge of Vulnerability Management solutions
- Expert knowledge of Information Security principles and practices
- Broad understanding of IT Security principles including technologies touching data, physical, business process, system integration
- Advanced project, analysis, problem solving, and business relationship skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and manage the timely delivery of projects
- Ability to mentor other Security officer in your field of expertise
- Ability to relate security controls to typical business requirements
- Broad understanding of key industry regulations and standards such as: ISO27001/2, SOX, COBIT etc
- Professional Accreditations
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent certifications in IT Security
- CISSP, CISM or CISA certification highly regarded
