Support the overall finance function and work within a high performance manufacturing facility based in Sydney's west. Reporting to a Commercial Manager and with solid long term career prospects, this role will enable a newly qualified CPA the opportunity to bed down their career within an Australian corporate icon.
With a focus on reporting, analysis, financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting, this role is an all round financial and management accounting role that includes some transactional support to a corporate shared services. In addition, you will take on responsibility for some aspects of statutory reporting including FBT and Payroll tax, as well as month end processing and balance sheet reconciliations. Working in a small finance team, you will have the chance to work across the commercial and operational areas of the business as well as playing a pivotal role in the day to day accounting and reporting.
The successful candidate will also play a part in building strong relationships with internal customers and to identify areas where improvements can be made, costs can be controlled and profitability will be enhanced. Working to achieve corporate and business unit goals is a real team effort within this business and all specialisms within the organisation are encouraged to work together to hit those goals.
The ideal candidate will be newly qualified CPA with solid work experience within a manufacturing environment. Expertise with SAP system and an advanced level of Excel are also requirements.
