DELIVERING FINANCIAL REPORTING AND STRATEGIC COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTING WITHIN KEY FINANCIAL CONTROLLER POSITIONS



With operations in the UK and Ireland, this business operates as an SME entity, but are very much part of global media group that are a household name. Within their corporate and stylish Irish offices, they have a professional and dynamic team of finance professionals that provide a variety of core accounting duties to include group financial reporting, statutory accounting, audit & tax, forecasting & budgeting and supporting strategic commercial accounting.



This position is to operate as the Financial Controller for the finance team, both overseeing the finance team and working as a hands on accountant being heavily involved in the nitty gritty of the reporting process. The core area;s of responsibility of this role include delivering full month-end accounting duties, presenting full forecasting and budgeting to relevant business heads, reviewing the aged debtors listing, cashflow management and timely completion of audit. You will however also be required to support the MD and other UK heads with strategic commercial duties, system enhancement projects and be willing to contribute idea's outside of the finance function.



This is a truly exciting position, with great diversity and variety within a stylish and impressive business working with an excellent team of finance professionals. However, to be considered you need to be an impressive candidate yourself! You must have previous experience in a finance manager level role, ideally within an SME entity, you will have strong hands on accounting experience and be used to group or international reporting under tight deadlines. Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP would be a distinct advantage as would exposure to Oracle or Sage. A proven ability to meet deadlines and to communicate both above and below are essential requirements and as a manager you will have experience leading, training, developing and supporting a team of finance professionals.
