Our client is one of the top insurance providers worldwide, listed on London stock exchange. The branch, based in Kuala Lumpur is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Functional Lead) to lead a team of business analyst to deliver new product launches, service request for system enhancement and conduct new initiatives for projects.



The individual would be mainly responsible in coordinating business requirements and ensuring that the best practices and work streams are out into place to improve efficiency of the business. The individual would be accountable on ensuring that tasks are delivered within the agreed timelines. You would also need to lead the team to devise business scenarios and test plans in conjunction of the user acceptance test (UAT) execution. You will be liaising with the training department and communication team to ensure that relevant changes in projects/systems are highlighted. The individual would help to ensure that proper documentation of processes and functional specifications are put in place.



The suitable candidate should posses a degree in Business/Insurance studies/Information technology/Computer Science or relevant courses. It is recommended that the individuals have at least 4-5 years of experience, preferably in Life Insurance or financial services. Key behavioral skills include having the attention on details, good communication skills, organised and independent.
