Test Engineer / Analyst - Cards

Ireland, IE - Banking, Computer Networking, Computer Software

The first is an upgrade of the clients Tandem cards processing hardware and associated Base 24 software. The second project is the development and delivery of Debit Cards for business customers using the Visa Debit scheme

The candidate will be expected to have extensive knowledge of both Debit and Credit card processing using both the Visa and Mastercard schemes. He / she should have experience of having tested cards based change in a retail financial institution and should be comfortable performing a variety of test activities including, functional specification analysis, test scripting and test execution.

The initial contract period is for 6 months.

Detail of specific skills / knowledge required are outlined below:

* HP Quality Centre

* Tandem / Base 24

* Tsys

* Card Simulation tools

* ATM / Kiosk Device Testing

* Knowledge of the Visa Cards scheme

* System / Functional testing in a retail bank environment



New project work emerging across the Cards IT space including work driven by the review of Cards resilience. Development team manager is in the process of increasing development capacity via contract hires
