Financial Accountant/ Reporting Accountant

2 IC to a Financial Controller



This is a unique opportunity to work for a growing subsidiary of a global business. This varied Financial accounting role will encompass month end reporting, maintenance of internal controls and internal auditing, statutory reporting and overseeing the accounts payable and receivable reconciliations and reporting.



On a day to day basis you will prepare month end financials, maintain strict internal controls, improve and streamline processes, audit the accounts, perform month end reconciliations, prepare P+L reports, maintain the general ledger and reconcile the AP and AR ledgers. You will also account for stock and inventory and oversee some of the cost control and costing.



This role would suit someone who has strong technical skills and experience in an SME wholesale, retail, logistics, FMCG or manufacturing environment. Successful applicants will hold a tertiary qualification in accounting or finance and will ideally be part or fully qualified CA or CPA.



Experience in a product related environment (Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing, Wholesale etc) is essential
