Our client is a MNC leader in its space. They have a strong international presence and high profile & award winning projects throughout Europe, Middle East, Asia and USA. The regional headquarter based in Hong Kong is recruiting an Business Controller for Asia Pacific.


You will report directly to the Head of Finance. You will be responsible of Commercial (Finance): Proficient in the Investment and Contract Approval Process for the region, providing guidance to countries where required. Supports on any process changes/improvement for the region. Advisor on financial inputs to cost models. You will provide guidance to various functional stakeholders. You will support Business Development and identify key commercial issues to flag out to management. You will conduct regular training to various stakeholders and provide timely updates to the region on changes to the Business Rules (where applicable). Yous will advise to the business stakeholders on contractual risk assessments and possible mitigations. Review and manage approval process for request from the business units pertaining to deviations. Review customer contracts and provide constructive feedback to the business stakeholders on the commercial risks areas. On the Insurance / Risk Management side: you will perform claims analysis. Point of regional contact for global insurance policies and claims process enquiries. Drive the annual global insurance renewal process the region. Ensure completeness and quality of countries submission.



Education / Qualifications:

* Degree in Accountancy, Finance or Business

* Minimum 5 years relevant business experience and/or exposure in financial analysis, analytical business

review in a fast-paced MNC environment.

* Task-oriented, Analytical, Meticulous and able to work under time pressure

* Good team player with ability to work independently.

* Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.

* Must be a self-starter and strong leader with multi-tasking ability.

* Experience in Freight Forwarding and/or Contract Logistics industry preferred.

* Strong commercial and business acumen will be required to succeed in this role.

* English speaker, Asian language an advantage
