I am currently recruiting for a Grade 9/10 Project Officer for a NSW State Government Department to start immediately on a 12 month contract basis. This position will work on specific projects as well as providing policy advice across a variety of subjects relating to school education, early childhood and vocational education and training.



To be successful in applying to this role, you will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a strong understanding of project management methodology in a NSW State Government environment. You will have experience in working for the NSW Government in issue analysis and the provision of strategic policy advice, proven high level research, written and oral communication skills, the ability to manage high volume workloads with short time frames, work independently and as part of a team and hold high level organisational skills.



The successful applicant will find satisfaction in this role, where you will need to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines. To be successful, you will have Project / Policy experience in a NSW State Government Department at Grade 9/10, and will be available for a 12 month contract, with potential extension. You will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
