This large scale plant incorporates a complex multi-stage process to produce a high quality refined mineral product for the international market. At present the Engineering Superintendent role at this impressive site is managed by an acting superintendent, but the search is ongoing for a suitably experienced Engineering Superintendent. As this company has the time to recruit the right person they are being extremely thorough in the selection process.



This role will see you indirectly managing upwards of 70 maintenance staff. Your remit will include all planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, shutdowns and small project work. This role requires a strong people manager with an ability to succession plan and develop other's careers. Working closely with your supervisors to deliver consistent availability and high quality data management for the maintenance function will be very important.



You will hold a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, (unfortunately this role is not open to those from a trade qualified background at this stage) and you will have experience in managing maintenance and reliability at a process plant with complex processing - ideally a major hazard facility.
