VP AML PEP Specialist

VP - PEP (Politically Exposed Person) Specialist - Global Financial Service provider.



A leading global institution is recruiting for a PEP specialist to support and lead all investigations in the 2nd line of defence surrounding PEPs.



The Client:



As one of the world's leading financial service providers, they have offices across Europe, the US and Asia. They have investment banking, private banking, wealth management and corporate banking divisions. They are looking for a PEP specialist with a breadth of knowledge surrounding sanctions.



The Role:



The main function of the role is to oversee and lead all projects involving PEPs. It is a VP position and will require certain man management and training aspects. You will be expected to hold extensive intellectual property surrounding PEPs advising the business were necessary. Further requirements include;

* Implementation/development of internally framework to support the PEP functions for the business.

* Establish and deliver training to other members of the team.

* Provide advice to the business were necessary.

* Act as a communication point to all relevant stakeholders, providing regular and timely reports were necessary.

* Provide expert PEP knowledge to the businesses, communicating this to the relevant colleagues and departments.



The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert on PEPs. They will have a passion and drive to support the businesses, emulating the ethos of the institution.



* They will be highly motivated and driven to ensure effective defence practices regarding PEPs.

* A working knowledge of the market, imparting relevant knowledge upon the business.

* They will have a wealth of experience preferably exceeding 5 years.

* Academic qualifications of 2:1 degree (or equivalence)
