HP Enterprise Group is seeking a highly motivated, Converged Infrastructure Sales Specialist to drive all revenue generation and customer management into an assigned portfolio of named Commercial accounts.



Roles and Responsibilities Include


  • Develop long term sales pipeline to increase HP's market share in converged solutions

  • Leverage internal sales team members and HP Partners to seek out existing and new opportunities

  • Drive revenue growth and set expectations for the account sales team

  • Focus on strengthening customer relationships while expanding HP Converged Infrastructure market share

  • Be seen as the subject matter expert for entire ISS portfolio

  • Establish a professional, working and consultative, relationship with the sales team, including District Manager and Vice President/General Manager

  • Maintain market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with customer and strategic partners




Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:



  • University or Bachelor's degree

  • 3 – 5 years of related sales experience

  • Must have previous experience selling servers; knowledge of storage and networking products preferred

  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface

  • Knowledge of converged systems preferred but not required


Knowledge and Skills Required:



  • Know strengths and weaknesses of key competitors in account and how to leverage this knowledge in the account

  • Use expertise in specialty, consultative solution selling and business development skills to align the client's business needs with solution

  • In-depth knowledge of client's business, organizational structure, business processes and financial structure

  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative in successfully driving Server sales in accounts -prospecting, negotiating and closing deals

  • Strategic planning on a business development level; can build an effective business case reflecting the value of an appropriate strategy

  • Balance strategic and tactical pursuits to optimize coverage and develop a predictable revenue stream

  • Use C-level engagement skills in collaboration with account leads to offer value-add solutions to the client

  • Demonstrate the ability to leverage HP's portfolio of products and services to change the playing field against our competition

  • Understand the leverage of services as part of strategic portfolio of products. Promote services as part of all strategic opportunities

  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner/ISV solutions
