This is a Perth based opportunity to work with the no.1 recruitment agency in APAC as the leader of our OHS team in Perth.
Hays is a leader in its field in both recruitment and safety practices. We supply temporary workers across all areas of Western Australia across multiple industries. We are heavily invested in ensuring the safety of our workers on site and therefore are now recruiting for a strong leader within OHS to develop and mentor our current safety team as the OHS Coordinator.
As the OHS Coordinator you will work with your team of safety advisors to build and develop their career path in safety. Your role will see you visit construction and mine sites on a weekly basis and build strong relationships with the managers on site. You will work alongside the managers within the business to ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and compliant. As the OHS Coordinator you report directly to the Regional Director and will support them in tenders and legislative knowledge.
You are required to have a tertiary qualification in safety and have experience in managing safety professionals in the workplace. You will be driven and hard working and be diverse in your position, ideally have managed multiple sites and have a solid knowledge of the mining and construction safety legislation. A background in manufacturing would be highly desirable.
