Calling all experienced Retail Store Manager who want to run their own business ..... A rare and exciting new opportunity has now become available to work for a market leader who dominates their field. Our client has a large amount of retail stores which can be found in every single town and they truly are experts in what they do.



Our client does not view this position as a standard Retail Store Manager, they look to this talented leader as a "partner in development" to help grow their brand, their people and their market share in the local geographical area whilst delivering service excellence to their customers.



The Exciting Opportunity:



You will assume day to day running of a retail store including people management where you will be responsible to lead, develop, recruit and motivate team members, ensure new starters are effectively inducted into the business so they understand the tasks and performance standards expected of them, conduct regular performance reviews for all team members

Whilst ensuring all store team members have the skills to perform their role effectively and oversee training and development plans. On the people management side, you will also monitor and evaluate performance of team members, address any short-falls in customer service with the individual team members involved to provide feedback and performance management counselling as required, ensure team members comply with Company policies and lead by example by actively and visibly participating in all store tasks.



You will also be responsible for Retail Management where you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, coach and support team members to deliver high levels of customer service and retail standards, maintain high standards in customer service at all times

along with resolution of customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner and within the best interests of all key stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include managing the flow of customers through the store effectively, oversee the cleanliness and tidiness of store, plan and manage appropriate staffing levels, ensure rosters are communicated in a timely manner, continually seek to improve the delivery of products/services to customers. You will also ensure all team members are aware of the store targets, understand their expected level of contribution and achieve results to agreed targets, oversee the till transactions and ensure best practice procedures are implemented by team members at all times, ensure that all stock is accounted for on a regular basis and regular stock take is undertaken.



We are looking for a talented Retail Manager who has ideally worked in a large department store or a high end retail brand which is highly service and customer focused. You will have people management experience and be commercially minded.

* An exciting career with constant support and development

* For the first 6-9 months your base salary will be $80k + super whilst you train

* After the 9 month period your salary is reduced to $65k + super but most importantly you will be given a share of all the profits that your store generates

* You will be given your own store after the initial 9 month training period and you will be treated like a franchisee
