Our client, a Disability Services organisation based in Darwin CBD, is seeking an Allied Health Professional to join their diverse and innovative team.
This organisation provides support to families and individuals who are suffering with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Providing a range of services for its clients including psychological assessment, assistance with social and emotional development, physical therapy as well as respite, this organisation focuses on the individual needs of their client with the aim to support, educate and encourage clients within their day to day lives.
If successful you will be creating individual care plans for clients ranging in age but predominantly youths. You will make the initial assessment and through your own clinical interpretation address the needs of that youth and their family. You will provide on-going care to your clients by regularly assessing treatment plans and engage with a multi-disciplinary team in order to cover all needs for that client.
To be considered for this role you must be AHPRA registered within Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Speech Pathology. You must be open-minded to a range of therapies, be curious to explore other methods of therapy and be innovative in your approach to care for a client with a wide range of needs. Experience in Paediatric care is essential.
