Our client is a global food ingredient company and is well known for the highest standard of product development and services provided to their customers.
Dedicated to the accelerated growth across the SEA, ANZ and India markets, they are now seeking a talented Hydrocolloids Application Technologist to provide technical and application support to overcome challenges faced by their customers within beverage and dairy industries
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be formulating technically appropriate and sound beverage prototypes, concepts or formulations with the use of hydrocolloids for technical issues, product improvement, new product launches, and product cost savings projects. You will also be responsible for lab maintenance, lab safety, up keeping of ISO standards as well as continuous improvement projects. You will be staying abreast of recent scientific hydrocolloid findings that pertain to relevant technical areas within the food and beverage industry.
To succeed in this challenging role, you have a good education in Food Science or Food Processing, with at least 6 years of R&D/product development/ technical services, focusing on applications of hydrocolloids such as gellan gum and pectin in beverages and dairy products. You are a team player who enjoys technical challenges and thrive well under timelines.
