Are you a continuous improvement expert with a background or strong interest in the logistics industry? Our client, a third party logistics provider with a leading international brand name, is hiring a Program Manager for Continuous Improvement to manage improvement projects in the region.
Working alongside operational and IT experts, this logistics job will focus on delivering a continuous improvement program focusing on Lean principals, up-skilling staff and training them in Six Sigma techniques to help them achieve Green Belt status. You will work with the wider business to identify areas of need for process improvement and then devise and deliver programs to measure/analyse their results.
As the ideal candidate for this job, you will have a working background in continuous improvement, either within the logistics industry or a large-scale manufacturing environment. You will be educated to at least degree level, and candidates possessing certification to at least Green Belt level will be preferred. You should be prepared to travel up to 40% of the time within this job.
