In- House Solicitor (Corporate or Commercial)

Our client, a leading international law firm are recruiting for an experienced corporate or commercial lawyer with 3-6 years plus to join it's dynamic team in an In-House capacity in Belfast. The department develops policy and advises on regulatory, compliance and risk matters that may affect the reputation or interests of the client. This is a unique In house legal role offers genuine development in a commercial environment, which will engage your legal & communication skills at a range of levels. The role itself is diverse, interesting and face paced. The successful candidate will utilise their analytical & negotiation skills to resolve professional, legal, regulatory and commercial issues relating to the firms business and client engagement. The key responsibilities of this role will consist of advising the firms procurement and support departments on contracts (high value IT contracts), confidentiality and intellectual property rights, assisting with the administration of the corporate group structure, drafting and updating risk and compliance policies, advising fee earners and otherwise assisting with advising on the firms regulatory & compliance obligations and risk management



Candidate

Requirements



Qualified - ideally 3-6 years PQE Corporate Or Commercial Lawyer (less or more PQE will be considered dependant on experience)

Experience of drafting, negotiating and drafting high value commercial contracts and dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders in this regard

Excellent communication skills

Self motivated and the ability to deal with new challenges
