This not-for-profit organisation is the largest provider of services in its field and seeks to continuously develop and innovate its approach. An exciting opportunity has become available to undertake a HR Advisor role within a busy team.



You will be responsible for your own client group spread across multiple sites in Sydney and will work closely with the managers within this group. You will have a generalist remit but the role will have a strong focus on performance management and providing advice around areas including absenteeism, grievances and poor performance. You will put together capability training sessions, identify areas for improvement and provide one on one coaching. In addition you will be responsible for award and enterprise agreement negotiation, will help implement best practice HR processes and will support managers to carry our workforce planning.



This is a great opportunity for someone who has gained at least a couple of years solid generalist experience within HR and is keen to step into a busy role which will develop you further. You will need to have solid experience with performance management including terminations and more complex matters. You will ideally hold tertiary qualifications in HR and a background within a health or not-for-profit sector would be advantageous but is not essential. As you will be working in a multi-site environment with a large client group you will need to be effective at building relationships and taking the initiative with suggestions and implementation of ideas. Although the role is a 12 month contract initially there is excellent scope for career progression and development and there would be a high likelihood that the role would become a permanent position.
