Geotechnical Engineer - Perth based with Site Travel

This opportunity will see you join an in-house geotechnical team at a leading mining house. This role will start on contract basis in Perth, covering for a period of leave (around 6 months) then a permanent position is available on a fly in fly out, 8:6 basis.



In this role you will have the opportunity to be involved across multiple projects and get involved across various project areas with mining work, tailings and closures. You will input geotechnical advice to mining operations, undertaking observations and assessments as necessary to ensure compliance with mine design. You may be involved in providing advice on operational risk assessments and general geotech guidance to other technical areas for mining and tailings.



To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge of geotechnical engineering and a Bachelor degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related. You'll be using the Rocscience Suite and must also be proficient in using Vulcan software.
