NEW PERMANENT SENIOR BUYER JOB IN SOUTH YORKSHIRE



A leading employer based in South Yorkshire is currently looking to recruit a Senior Buyer to join the team on a permanent basis at their Head Office site.



Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for a mix of strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives across indirect categories, working with Stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies across their allocated Indirect spend categories and developing and implement recommendations to achieve optimal cost savings and deliver value within their categories.



The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and make key recommendations to the business, comparing current practices and proposing change strategies to drive best value for the business. You will have strong negotiation skills and a keen focus on supplier relationship management with the ability to ensure that suitable contract provisions are in place with key suppliers, providing support to their stakeholders in agreeing contract terms in liaison with the Legal department



This is a key role within the business and would suit a candidate who is looking to progress their career in procurement with a view to being a Manager of the Future
