Senior SAP Basis Administrator

Canada, CA - Information Technology and Services

- Work with project teams by delivering best practices in solution design and development which can be replicable for similar requirements

- Assist with solutions and strategy roadmaps in conduction with the customer's business partners and strategy teams

- Play a significant role in leading technical integration efforts between multiple systems

- Provide recommendations on preferred solutions by partnering with Enterprise Architecture, Network, Service Integration and Hosting Services teams

- Determine the potential impact by proactively monitoring strategic direction of SAP Vendors, Technology and Market trends

- Provide support with Heterogeneous system copies Handling of large DB platform migration particularly with (HANA, Oracle, Sybase)

- Plan for technical changes to the environment using a structure approach that minimizes the impact

- risk and achieves high availability and reliability and performance of the SAP instances.

- SAP Installation and configurations, including database and applications servers

- SAP client administration (client copy, delete client, create client and export/import client) as needed

- Ability to manage teams, onsite, offshore

- Develop and maintain system documentation for all instances and interfaces

- All other BASIS activities
