The client is an established consultancy with its headquarters in Australia, they have built their excellent reputation in the identification and classification of building defects and the scoping of building repair works. Due to the increase of work the client now requires an experienced architectural technician to join their small team, you will be working closely with an exterior loss adjustment and claim management company.



The ideal candidate will be proficient in ArchiCAD and hold their LBP to level 2, you will also have a high understanding of NZ building code and be able to show examples of your work. The initial work will be within the residential field and some low end commercial projects, the bulk of the work will centre around fire and flood damage so experience in this field would be advantageous but not essential. You will be draughting documents for consent, helping in the tendering process and liaising with council and also loss adjusters so i high level of communication is crucial



You will be quick and efficient without making mistakes, this role would be perfect for a real people person who can remain upbeat and is able to talk to a variety of people.
