Deal Analysis and Support
- Ensure that deal approvers have a full and open view of the relevant facts and assumptions underlying the engagements financial plan
- Work closely with the pursuit team and account team to understand the scope of the Regional engagement and contract in order to provide the requisite analysis / information and recommendations to the pursuit and account team.
- Scenario simulation of key deal features
- Presales and Sales financial consulting
- Design of financial due diligence in regard to pricing
- Improve deal win rate through proactive financial engineering
- Ensure the quality, completeness and transparency of financial evaluations and communication written and oral to the deal approvers
Financial Management, process consulting and governance
- Maintain strong process governance and ensure internal controls are met
- Advise on revenue recognition policies, and US GAAP policies. This includes multiple element accounting of deals consisting of hardware and support services
- Ensure deferred revenue is minimized and work with legal and controllership to discuss contractual agreements do not affect revenue recognition.
- Share knowledge and documentation (transfer, communication with counterparts)
- Establish positive working relationships with the customer team, to get the best understanding of the existing cost structure possible.
- Establish open lines of communication between regional and if required, worldwide groups
- Consults and provides required documentation to the Solution Opportunity Approval Review (SOAR) process.
- Participates in Project/Program Reviews and validates project financial status
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
- 5 -6 years directly related experience in business finance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- In depth understanding and knowledge of Management of Change issues.
- Business and customer oriented Team player with ability to form alliances across boundaries.
- Proven project management skills and leadership capabilities.
- Strong influencing and communication skills at a Sr level. Must be fluent in English
- Ability to cope with very high peak workloads, short deadlines and significant pressure.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Lead management of Regional or multinational programs
- Resolve critical problems
- Apply effective project management methods
- Finance or HR or Contract Negotiation breadth of knowledge
- Focus on customer relationships & engagement process
- Build and maintain relationships
- Demonstrate understanding of financial impacts of technical approaches and decisions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of corporate policies, markets and processes.
- Provide consulting on financial or HR or contractual issues
- Contribute to and present proposals
- Good Business Acumen
- Translate business requirements into financial or HR or contractual solutions
- Structure and price deals to maximize profits
- Demonstrate good outsourcing industry knowledge
- Demonstrate mastery to state-of-the-art business/financial/HR/contracting knowledge
- Good Interpersonal skills and clear &effective communication ability.
- Highly developed software capability (PowerPoint, Excel)
