Learning and Development Consultant

Singapore, SG - Computer Hardware

Purpose : To facilitate learning & development activities for different business units by analyzing & assessing competencies for different roles, do competency gap analysis, identifying learning and training needs, delivering training/ learning interventions & ensuring continuous measurement and progress against targeted learning/training interventions.




Key Responsibilities:


• To work on the competency development model for training and identify, analyze competency gaps and develop training plans to address the competency gaps and acquire new competencies.


• To work with different business stakeholders to understand their training needs, market dynamics, business challenges to craft appropriate training/learning solutions and ensure targeted career development plans offerings are provided to the employees.


• To provide guidance, input and recommendations into the training design, format, frequency, objectives and competencies attained by different trainings and also to evaluate training effectiveness and link it to the business outcomes.


• To work with corp. L&D to ensure appropriate customization and localization of global L&D programs content to suit the needs and requirements of APJ region.


• To work with external vendors to ensure appropriate service offerings, procurement and contractual detailing and complete vendor management ranging from collecting quotes to ensuring how to drive return on investments on vendor offerings.


• To strategize and supervise all logistics, budgets, systems and processes related to training interventions.


• To ensure consistency and standardization across processes, systems, training delivery methods, execution plans across the countries in the APJ region.


• To cross collaborate with other teams including global, regional, business, finance, operations and HR teams to ensure an integrated and holistic L&D intervention is carried and managed within the region.


• To ensure data discipline, dashboard reporting, data analysis and action planning to ensure end-to-end learning and development management.


• To ensure effective communications to inform and engage key internal and external stakeholders to manage APJ L&D portfolio and interventions


• Develop strong external networks with industry colleagues/ educational bodies to facilitate access to training expertise as and when needed






Qualifications


  • 10 years’ experience in L&D Consulting and Training preferably in a channel based IT organization

  • Hands-on experience in designing training solutions as per client needs

  • Should have consulting background and knowledge and should have handled multiple key stakeholders

  • 5 + years experience in consulting with leadership level

  • Experienced with external vendors

  • Should have a good experience of designing and managing sales and soft skills trainings

  • Should understand the channel based sales model and be able to craft training solutions for channel sales needs

  • Should have designed product and soft skills training solutions for sales and non-sales functions.

  • Competency definition and evaluation

  • Experienced supporting sales organization
