The role is within Legal Entity Control. We are looking for Qualified ACA's with strong product and technical knowledge with a Financial Services background (Financial Control/Product Control).



This is a good opportunity for those in Product Control/Financial Control looking for a broad ranging role with obvious progression and development. This is a top tier Bank offering excellent opportunities.



Legal Entity Control is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial results of the legal entities and ensuring business booking in the legal entities complies with the applicable regulatory requirements. The LEC ensures that other functional areas execute their identified responsibilities in a manner that maintains the accuracy of the books and records and escalates issues to the management. Specific responsibilities include the following:



1. Local Regulatory Relationship and Reporting



2. LE Governance & Structure



3. Books and Records, Standards and Controls



4. Tax Compliance





They will want the following experience:

• Strong qualified accountant with at least 4 years PQE (ideally big "four")


• Experience working in a monthly reporting cycle, with Financial Services background (Financial Control/Product Control)


• Diverse product knowledge, with an ability to develop an understanding of new products.


• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop working relationships, across businesses and other support groups


• Good analytical skills and attention to detail, including a strong control focus


• Ability to partner and influence, as well as discuss results with product controllers and senior management.


• Ability to work under considerable time pressure, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.


• Team player with a proven ability to manage daily processes/issues


• Team orientated and motivated self-starter with a positive "can do" attitude.
