A new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Procurement professional for this commercial organisation based outside Peterborough. You will be working closely with Category Managers and senior stakeholders across the organisation and will have the opportunity to manage spend areas autonomously.



Key responsibilities of this role are to play an active role in managing indirect spend across a defined area. With a high-performing team already in place there is scope to shape the job profile to suit candidate expertise.



*The role will suit a candidate with some initial exposure to procurement who is looking to develop a long-term career path.

The successful candidate will have the proven ability to manage a supply base and be a confident negotiator.

*Experience and good understanding of indirect procurement a strong advantage

*Wok in cross-functional teams to select and implement suppliers as necessary according to the Sourcing Process.

*Monitor supplier's performance (cost, quality, delivery and service).

Experience in reviewing & negotiating , commercial terms and conditions.

*Continuously develop suppliers to improve their service.

*Support and promote good teamwork in the department and act in line with the company's values.

*Exceptional communication and stakeholder mgt skills essential.

*Degree/CIPS (part/full) qualified preferred.

£28000.00 - £32000.00 per annum + CIPS
