Based just outside of Oxford is a revolutionary software house, delivering specialist information solutions across the globe; their work is ground-breaking and world class. They have pioneered IT solutions with software engineering principles and they have built a reputation of executing customer service to outstanding levels. Located within a spacious and modern business park they seek a senior IT professional to take up an Architect post within their Software Engineering group to provide direction, guidance and definition of their enterprise's architecture, effectively supporting the IT strategy and thereby the business strategy.



The role will be responsible for the concept of solutions, building consensus and obtaining the agreement of key IT stakeholders and the selling and execution of such solutions. You will have strong software and technical architecture knowledge & experience. You will be familiar in working within a broad range of environments and have experience of presenting complex technical strategies to non-technical management, as well as assessing and evaluating the risks and implications of introducing new technologies.



Your background will draw on best practices to guide the development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. You will have a deep understanding of Software Development and Application Architecture, ideally within the .NET framework and surrounding technologies such as C#, SQL and JavaScript. Any core competency in defined areas of expertise such as Software solutions, Cloud, IT Security or Strategy will give you a distinct advantage.
