• Monitors Workload Automation tools to ensure that all processes are completed successfully within specified time contraints.

• Responsible for allocation of resources based upon production requirements and system load.

• Works with System Administrators, Database Administrators, developers and vendors to ensure processing is completed.

• Develops and maintains production job scripts to ensure smooth and consistent job execution.

• Monitors the execution of batch job scripts, identifies issues, and repairs issues through accepted change control processes.

• Performs Level 1 and Level 2 problem determination.

• Works with Business teams to resolve issues in a timely manner so that contracted SLAs are not impacted.

• Operates and monitors computer equipment.

• Performs routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and their peripherals.

• Loads peripheral equipment such as tapes and printer paper for operating runs.

• Observes peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on monitor of terminal to detect faulty output or machine stoppage.
