Overview:



We are seeking a location and concentration risk specialist who will be responsible for the development of operational processes to embed location and concentration models. This is an initial 4 months contract paying up to £650 per day.



Job Duties:



*Develop the strategy for concentration and location risk assessment



*Deliver up to date and agreed location risk assessments



*Assess options for build versus buy and provide recommendations and business case for the preferred choice



*Programme management for strategy, selection and implementation of the process and tools for concentration risk and location risk models



*Design, set up and maintain the Location Risk model. The key work streams are a) Tool Design b) Prototype c) Operation



*Design, set up and maintain the Concentration Risk model. The key work streams are a) Tool Design b) Prototype c) Operation



*Design and implement the governance and assurance process for concentration risk and location risk



*Embed concentration risk and location risk process in BCM policy and governance process



Governance - Reporting and Conformance - cover for BCM Governance and Risk Co-ordinator



* Ensure that BCM risks and issues are actively managed and/or escalated to Head of BCM Governance and Risk or Group Head of BCM.



* Ensure accepted risk levels and dispensations are documented and their review is included as part of the plan update process.



* Work with Head of BCM Governance & Risk to:



* Re-assess the Group's exposure to BCM risk on a regular basis.



* Review group-wide RCAs on a regular basis.



* Monitor progress against milestones.



* Review audit timescales to see if they are realistic.



* Maintain database of business unit dispensations against Group policy or minimum standards



* Perform conformance testing as required.



* Support Head of BCM Governance and Risk in maintaining a register of BIA audit.



* Work with BCM PMO to ensure accurate tracking of progress and action on audit points.



* Monitor and draft initial response to any BCM control issues at Group Centre or of Group Level Significance.



* Own and maintain the BCM RCA for Group BCM and review group-wide RCA in relation to BCM.
