Balance Sheet & Funds Transfer Pricing Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen with our Client, a major player within financial services in Edinburgh. Operating within the Treasury Finance team, the Balance Sheet & Funds Transfer Pricing Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) in the Bank, as required under regulation.



This is a business critical role as Funds Transfer Pricing impacts all areas of the organisation and a very thorough understanding of banking and banking products is required. The ability to facilitate change is an important feature of the role, as is the ability to work in close collaboration with the various business areas.



In this role you will be interacting with key stakeholders at all levels throughout the business and the ability to communicate in a professional and credible manner, along with the ability to understand and question the conclusions of others whilst taking into consideration the viewpoint of others is essential.



To be successful in this role, the follow knowledge, skills and experience is necessary:



* Degree-level education in a highly numerate subject as well as strong analytical abilities

* A professional qualification (AMCT/CFA/ACA/ACCA)

* Strong communication and influencing skills

* Ability to convey difficult technical issues to a broad range of recipients

* A proven track record of delivering high quality output on schedule and successfully leading high performing teams.

* Experience in a risk management, treasury or finance setting
