Procurement Manager

Our client in the public sector is currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join their growing organisation on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your career forward in procurement as you would have sole responsibility for the procurement spend for the organisation.



You will have responsibility for the development and management of the organisation's procurement strategy, policy and procedures alongside providing advice and support to stakeholders to ensure their effective implementation. The post will ensure effective systems of reporting and communications exist to allow senior management to better direct procurement behaviours and processes.



You will also maintain an approved list of suppliers for the organisation and build strong relationships in order to negotiate delivery of cost savings and other non-financial benefits with suppliers.



Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic procurement professional with strong procurement experience, ideally in a services environment in the public or private sector. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are essential. This position requires an individual that is either MCIPS Qualified or part qualified CIPS.
