Head of Tax

Cardiff, United Kingdom, GB - Accounting

Corporate tax returns including capital allowance claims, share scheme deductions, R&D claims, liaising with external advisors

Indirect tax, overseeing VAT and regulatory return completion, partial exemption calculations and method reviews and ad hoc projects

Review tax treatment of transactions, revenue streams, share schemes

Tax accounting, overseeing accounting for all taxes including deferred tax and ensuring disclosures in financial statements are appropriate and compliant

Providing forecasts of tax charges across the group





ACA, ACCA, CTA with 3 years post qualification experience

Strong academic background

Experience of preparing corporate tax returns and capital allowance calculations Exposure to indirect taxes, ideally within the financial services sector

Experience and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
