Security Analyst - Security Operations Centre (SOC) - Hampshire/Surrey

We are recruiting into our new Security Operation Centre - a multi million pound project within CSC. Based primarily out of our Aldershot office, this will be a centre of excellence used to showcase to our clients, and help facilitate growth in the Cyber Security space. This is very much a strategic move for the business and will be a huge growth area. We need to hire 20 new team members by the end of 2014.

You will be responsible for delivering managed security services to a large number of key end-clients. Provie first line analysis of information from a variety of security tools and pass the information to designated escalation points, advising on remediation where necessary. This will involve monitoring the Security Management consoles, analysing intrusion, vulnerability and audit data, investigating and documenting security incidents, and correctly identifying and resolving incidents. You will also proactively identify major or common attacks for the purposes of tuning security devices, and will oversee the ongoing maintenance of security tools.
