The HP Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Program Management function is primarily responsible for delivery of customer-unique OEM solutions including requirements definition, development, scheduling, reporting, launch, and sustaining activities. The Program Managers serve as a customer advocates by working with internal HP teams and partners in the delivery and sustainability of OEM solutions, facilitating the procurement of standard or custom HP products and services, either directly from HP, or other approved fulfillment route, in order to embed, integrate, or private label HP products into their final product solution.


As a Regional Manager of Engineering Programs in the World-Wide OEM organization, you will lead a team of Engineering Program Managers involved with developing and executing plans for OEM Customers requiring unique computing solutions. You will contribute and lead multi-disciplined, culturally diverse, and geographically dispersed teams of engineers and business analyst responsible for enabling and deploying OEM offerings to multiple geographic regions. You will have the opportunity to support and lead teams through the Engineering development process, implementation and maintenance of HP's customer OEM projects, and will work closely with HP's Services organizations in order to ensure a successful support strategy is implemented prior to product launch.


Your leadership attributes will enable you to confidently manage hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; driving and fostering organization-wide performance standards, expectations, and practices to support ongoing team member and process development.


You will also play a pivotal role in engaging with both internal stakeholders (program managers, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders and executives) and external stakeholders (customers, standards bodies, partners) to communicate program status, escalate issues, and guide and influence strategic decision-making to facilitate project and program completion on schedule within budget.








Qualifications

Applicants will have a Bachelor of Information Technology/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study and at least 10+ years industry experience in software development, computer architecture and/or hardware engineering, or alternatively supply chain management from the technology space, with 5+ years of day-to-day management of project / program management teams of 6-10 employees.


The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of product development processes for Industry Standard Servers, Networking and Storage products, and experience working with various Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, Services, Channel and Business Alliance Partners. PMP/PMI certification is preferred.


You will have a deep understanding of HP's products and services and be able to communicate the strengths of HP's offerings relative to competition. In return we can offer a competitive salary and benefits package and excellent career development prospects.
