WordPress Developer - Digital Team



One of our clients, a leading FMCG giant is seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join their rapidly expanding Digital Team. Working closely with the Digital Manager, the role is manage a collection of customer facing websites used to promote the company's products lines and brands. Due to the size of this company and growth within this team - this is an excellent career opportunity.



The role holder with be responsible for developing and updating a number of websites and email templates, creating consistency, and ensuring quality control in fast paced dynamic environment. The developer will also work on technical strategy to improve SEO, load time and usability of existing consumer and retailer facing web and mobile environments.



Additional responsibilities will be to publish and update various online properties via CMS systems and FTP. Ensure testing (browser compatibility) and traffic analytics (Google Analytics) are always factored into new page, site or campaign execution.



Technically we're looking for strong PHP development skills and CMS experience (WordPress) preferable in a Digital, marketing or agency Environment. We also need good general open source skills, covering things like MySQL, HTML5/CSS3, and ideally (some) exposure to design tools like Photoshop, Dreamweaver and email marketing platform.
