A single form entry Primary school in the South of Chesterfield, is looking for an excellent Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach in Year 4 from September 2014. The school is slightly smaller than average sized and serves children from the local area and surrounding village. The school's most recent Ofsted in 2010, was graded as "Good" and the Head Teacher describes the school as "incredibly supportive, with a friendly staff". Covering a maternity leave, this Year 4 Teacher job will be full time, with the possibility to continue for the full 2014-15 Academic Year.



The school is very proud of their achievement of several awards, including The International Schools Award, The Active Mark and The Excellence Plus Award for Anti-Bullying work. Although the Head Teacher has stated that the job will be tough at times with some challenging behaviour to cope with, they have highlighted that there are strong support networks in place across school. The school is also committed to being different and to offering varying and interesting projects, including having their own school Radio Station and carrying out a continuous Film work throughout the year at TV Studios.



The right person will have recent knowledge of Teaching Key Stage 2 and will be able to provide named referees to support this experience, will have sound understanding of successful classroom management techniques to cope with children that can at times be tough to handle and will have a passion to embrace the diverse opportunities that the school are in a position to offer to their children. Please note that this job would be suitable for a Newly Qualified or experienced Teacher.
