Purchasing & Logistics Assistant

My client is a well established Bristol based business. In order to support their continued growth they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Purchasing and Logistics Assistant to support the existing function.



The role will involve :



· Purchasing of stock, monitoring and forecasting.

· Confirmation and reconciliation of orders.

· Supplier performance and relationships.

· Supporting current purchasing strategy.

· Supporting the import and clearance process of products purchased from abroad.

· Scheduling the arrival of goods in the company.

· Updating all information on computer system.

· Ensuring all suppliers deliver products on time.



The successful candidate will need :





Previous experience in a purchasing role desirable.

Previous experience in administration needed.

Represent company and department in internal and external meetings.

Hands on approach to work and training.

Positive approach to challenges, and problem solving.

Ability to prioritise workload.

Build relationships and supporting other departments within the company.
