TECHNICAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR (PHARMACEUTICAL PLANT)



Founded in early 1900s, our client is a pharmaceutical market leader in innovating healthcare solutions to save lives. With their expansion of business, they are now seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Services Supervisor to function as technical team lead within their bio-manufacturing plant in Singapore, which plays a critical role towards the success of their business.



You are responsible for supervising a team of process engineers responsible for downstream processes such as filtration, purification, centrifugation and protein separation. As the supervisor, you will also ensure effective team relations through providing the engineers in your team technical support, on-the-job training and constant feedback and evaluation to improve their work performance. You will have to ensure the proper process validations and consistent product quality throughout different stages of manufacturing processing. You will also play a key role in supporting new technologies and product transfer into the plant.



You will lead and implement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to include: Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Assembly Line Optimisation. You will actively support the transfer of new product into the plant and also product transfers out to other plants. You will develop operational strategies to manage the complex manufacturing process design, commissioning and validation efforts of new projects.



You should possess at least 5 years of downstream manufacturing experience in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industries. Advanced practical experience with industrial protein separation, chromatography, separation, purification, cGMPs are essential. You should possess excellent project management skills, team supervisory skills with abilities to communicate with people of all levels and functions.
