Entry-Level Test Analyst

HP Enterprise Services Applications has exciting opportunities for a Entry-Level Test Analysts in Wellington. The Testing team operates both from HP's Wellington Office and multiple client premises to service the specific project client needs.


We are looking for motivated and confident Entry-Level Test Analysts who have a strong thirst for learning and a drive to succeed in their chosen career. Your ability to interact with people/teams and build strong collaborative working relationships with teams and colleagues will be second to none.


In these roles you will be assigned to a team that works on application development for one of HP's long-standing key government clients. The majority of your work will be at the HP premises and from time to time you will visit the client onsite. Your confidence in client/customer facing environments will be central to your achievement and enjoyment of this role.


Presenting and talking to clients with ease will put you on a fast track to success in this environment. In this position, you will undertake both technical and process/methodology training and be mentored in Application Development Lifecycle and techniques. Your tasks will include analysis of input documents such as functional requirements and use case documents to identify business requirements; review of systems requirements in order to provide test analyst services for a testing project or service offering.




Qualifications

You will have a degree preferably with an IT focus. You will have clear attention to detail; the ability to learn and apply new processes quickly and be flexible in adjusting to ongoing change. If you fit the bill you will be rewarded with a wide range of exposure to the operations of a large IT Outsourcing organization; the development and management of Application Services in respect to our testing practice; test best practice methodologies, tools and processes and test documentation and various testing techniques and awareness of appropriate use. Further you will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts and to utilise the latest technologies while working on large and interesting projects.
