This global organisation is a leader in providing catering and food services across a range of businesses including blue-chip corporates, universities, schools and aged care institutions. It is located in a convenient location surrounded by transport, shopping and food facilities.



Due to maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen for an astute commercial lawyer to join the team in the Sydney office and report directly to the General Counsel (who is based in Melbourne). The successful candidate will be the only legal representative in the Sydney office, but will have a paralegal to support them. You will provide contractual and commercial advice to clients, and be experienced in building relationships with new and existing clients.



To be considered you will have 6-8+ PQE with a focus on contract and commercial laws. You will have a current NSW Practising Certificate and previous experience in in-house legal environments. You will be able to review, draft and negotiate policies, procedures and agreements.



You will also possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to build, manage and maintain relationships with clients. You will work productively with the small team of 7 in Sydney, and with the GC in Melbourne to achieve success for the business.



On offer is a fixed-term, full time one-year contract with an attractive remuneration package. Start early-mid March.
