People Manager, Mobility Electrical Hardware Engineering

As a mobile EE manager , your responsibility include:
- Provide direct and on-going leadership to a team of individual contributors responsible for mobile device and accessory EE solution development, integration, tuning, system validation and prototype build. You are accounted for overall development activity of the team member and the results, often across multiple programs.
- Apply advanced technical knowledge, effective leadership, effective communication, people management, project & program management, time and resource management to direct staff in solving complex HW EE technical issues associated with projects. Manage staff’s development activities and deliverable, schedules, and budget for multiple ongoing projects, ensure resource are appropriately allocated.
- Responsible for partnership management with internal program management teams, other engineering teams, supply chain, operation, quality, and regulation organization. You will also interface with engineering team from suppliers and ODMs. Effectively collaborate, clearly set goals, timely escalate to resolve issues and meet objectives.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities.
- Provides people-care management for assigned team members, including hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development; ensures that proper knowledge and career development tools are in place to support ongoing team member and process development.
Qualifications
Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of related work experience, including 2 or more years of people management experience.
- Proven record of leading product EE HW development. Experience in mobile product and accessory R&D development are strong plus.
- Deep knowledge on mobile device and technology architecture, key technology, industry trend, industry standard, and eco system.
- Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, teambuilding, conflict resolution, and management.
- Advanced project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experienced in managing human capital across geographies to drive workforce development and achieve desired results
- Advanced business acumen, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication across different levels in both native language and English, include negotiation, presentation, and influence skills.
