We are looking for someone to join our Global Strategic Sourcing team. The role of the Sourcing team is to proactively target and headhunt passive talent, for roles which are not easily filled with traditional recruiting methods.


Your role will be to work with the HP Talent Acquisition team, where you will provide a partnered and consultative recruitment service to the business stakeholders


Key responsibilities of the Sourcer include:



  • Consulting with hiring managers and recruiters on the hiring process, and developing a strategic sourcing plan, to ensure successful recruitment of quality candidates

  • Providing specialized sourcing expertise for technical and niche profiles. This includes coming up with creative and innovative ways of finding passive external talent for HP

  • Direct and proactive outreach to passive talent, including cold calling and headhunting

  • Fully qualifying the candidate and responsibility for the initial telephone interview

  • Building and maintaining talent pools of suitably qualified candidates based on business demands

  • Proactively using e-recruitment tools and Social Media to source top qualified candidates and keep up-to-date with new trends in sourcing

  • Developing and maintaining effective networks to maximize visibility and attract top quality candidates.

  • Contributing to HP's diversity objectives by developing a diverse top qualified pool of candidates (as applicable by geography)

  • Ensuring local Talent Acquisition practices are compliant with global/regional initiatives and legal requirements, and meets business priorities such as workforce redeployment and reduction, university hiring and diversity


Support will be provided by the current team in order to build your knowledge of the organisation, systems and recruitment channels.




Qualifications

Experience



  • Substantial experience in a Recruitment Agency environment where you have been involved in directly sourcing, headhunting, cold calling and interviewing candidates

  • First-level university degree or equivalent preferred

  • Experience of sourcing in one or more EMEA countries

  • Experience of using social networking tools for recruitment e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter

  • Proven track record of delivering sufficient, high-quality pipelines for multiple complex searches simultaneously


Skills & Competencies



  • Strong knowledge of recruitment and external market trends in recruiting

  • Motivated team player with a passion for recruitment

  • Proficient at time management and organization with a strong sense of urgency, flexibility, and adaptability

  • Ability to effectively sell the HP value proposition to candidates

  • Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all employee groups and levels (executives, managers & employees)

  • Persuasive and effective email and phone communication skills

  • Able to deal with ambiguity and changing landscapes

  • Able to balance strategic and operational aspects of the role

  • Creative mindset, able to think outside the box

  • Autonomous strategic thinker and change driver - makes things happen

  • Expert analytical & problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner and develop strong working relationships with clients, employees and HR colleagues.
