Job Description
The Agile Project Manager / Iteration Manager is a member of the Agile leadership triangle (which also includes the Solution Owner and Program Manager), responsible for:
• Agile / Scrum Coach – Develop scrum capabilities and coach team across all programme work streams on agile methodologies, reinforcing the role of Agile practices, behaviours and values in delivering project outcomes and achieving continuous improvement
• Day-to-day development team work facilitation, including iteration planning, daily stand ups, retrospectives, showcases with client and Accenture team members
• Removal of barriers to team effectiveness (including risk mitigation and issue resolution)
• Escalation of high severity issues
• Overall sprint and data management for the project including back-log management
It is the overall responsibility of the successful candidate is to ensure that the team delivers services to the customer and completes various project management activities according to defined service level commitments and process compliancy guidelines.
Mandatory Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to direct and guide offshore / remote teams
- Strong functional knowledge of Agile methodology & billing processes
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of Kenan and OLB
- Configuration management concepts
- Good technical troubleshooting skills / root cause analysis.
- Experience installing and configuring new systems and applications using different methodologies
- Performing application code deployments
- Status reporting (to client and project manager)
- Directs own work and that of others
- Required to make a variety of decisions affecting own area of control
- Manages relationship with client/customer
- Leads/manages medium work effort and/or team on a project under the direction of a more senior lead.
