Key Qualification


Min 7 to 10 years of experience into both Design Engineering and Manufacturing Background in manufacturing and testing is preferred. Excellent project management skills, working in a matrix organization Direct experience managing a functional engineering teams a plus Design or development experience along with operations experience preferred Proven bottom line project management experience (Planning, Cost & Delivery) Experience working with international OEM partners



Description


Drive all technical and operational issues related to manufacturing, test and final assembly processes to ensure effective closure of all issues to enable operational success of the entire product introduction cycle and into mass production. Work closely with the suppliers to provide technical & manufacturing direction to guarantee their ability to meet Apple design, test and quality requirements. Review and submit all equipment requirement plans, along with assessment of the robustness of the solution to meet the requirements of the operation and implementation of any additional solutions to mitigate any risks to the plans. Serve as the operational technical advisor and ensure operational technical readiness for all phases of the introduction cycle. Partner closely with the Engineering teams during all phases of development and product introduction. Interface with the various Operational Program teams to enable success of the new module introduction. Frequent travel is expected

BS/MS in Engineering



Job Summary


Lead a team of engineers (manufacturing, DFX, Test, SQE, SBE etc) and others in the development and support of new module (Cable, Connector, Battery, Acoustics, Wireless, Heat sink, Packaging, etc) that are to be incorporated into Apple products.
