My client is a famous security brand that is part of a highly respected multinational engineering group with over 150,000 employees worldwide. They are true industry leaders who have an established list of global clients as well as many warm potential clients approaching them for their services.



Due to substantial growth over the last 18 months they now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager who enjoys building new business and managing an existing client base of blue chip clientèle. You will be responsible for:



* Contributing to business growth by identifying and increasing sales to new prospective customers.

* Maximising business opportunities within the existing customer base, by taking a pro active role in ensuring current customers are being serviced.

* Manage marketing campaigns to generate new business through your prospecting activities.

* Carry out regular meetings with existing customers to secure future business and to ensure there requirements are being fulfilled.

* Meet and exceed annual sales targets outlined by the client.





The most important thing we are looking for in prospective candidates is for someone who has a hunger and is driven to make money by exceeding sales targets. Other experience that is required includes:



* Previous experience working in sales for a construction or contracting company, the ability to read design work would be ideal.

* Has experience working in a sales environment and is able to meet targets and KPI's outlined by the client.

* A pro active attitude is essential; the suitable candidate needs to be able to chase work with urgency and is not reactive to the phone calling.

* Able to develop and maintain strong business relationships with prospective new clients.



This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for sales and is driven by making money.
