Landowner Relations Advisor based in Auckland



As the operator of a major national infrastructure network it is imperative for our client's strategic objectives to develop and maintain positive long term relationships with all the landowners associated with the network. As the Landowner Relations Advisor these relationships are your key responsibility. You will engage and negotiate with landowners, stakeholders and Iwi, providing expert advice relating to property and access for transmission line maintenance and projects. You will liaise with internal staff and service providers to ensure smooth communication between the client and the landowners. Pro actively identifying and resolving possible issues is essential.



Key requirements for success in this position include:



* Excellent communication skills

* The ability to communicate complex technical issues

* Strong relationship management skills

* Dispute management and negotiations skills

* Intermediate level IT skills

* Attention to detail



You will be able to relate to landowners and service providers and relationship building will have played a large part in your previous roles. A farming or forestry background would be an advantage but is not essential. Some travel in the upper North Island is required.
