Tax Manager - CTA

An opportunity to be part of the Senior Management team



As a senior member of the Management Team, you will have sound financial technical skills, an ability to manage a diverse portfolio whilst offering creative solutions for the future growth and success of the business.



To be successful in this position you will have a minimum of 4-5 plus years experience working within Personal Tax or Corporate Tax.



Typical responsibilities for Tax Compliance will be, Prepare and review personal/company tax returns. Answer specific tax queries raised by clients or staff members. Manage HMRC full and aspect enquiries, Management and review of the work of junior staff members.



Tax Consultancy in conjunction with other managers you will be involved with tax planning work, reviewing the overall tax position for each client in the portfolio to ensure that they are tax efficient. Preparation of tax reports on same. Develop new sources of tax income eg Corporate Tax restructuring, IHT reports, PAYE/VAT health checks, Succession planning etc. Preparation of Tax Updates to be emailed to clients and prospective clients

Develop relationships with existing clients and third parties.



To be considered for this role you will have the following:



Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA or equivalent OR Qualified CTA, Excellent exam record. Experienced at managerial level. Excellent written and interpersonal skills and strong local network of contacts



Salary

Excellent salary package available dependant on experience.
