A multinational insurer with a syndicate in Lloyds of London are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their London based audit function, responsible for the European region and the audit of the Lloyds syndicate. This team works in a number of more niche areas of the insurance sector building up more varied exposure to a broad range of insurance products and policies.



In this internal audit position you will participate in the development and implementation of the audit strategy and the audit plan. Through auditing, testing internal controls and making key recommendations, you will gain a high level of exposure to this area of a leading international insurer. Through working on the syndicate you will build up knowledge of Lloyds of London, the world's premium insurance market.



Key responsibilities include:



-Building and maintaining effective working relationships with senior stakeholders

-Promote the audit department within the company and be a key decision maker

-Assist on the internal audits of key areas of the business

-Make recommendations to the wider business on the company's strategic processes



Ideal candidate:



-Previous experience of internal audit in the insurance sector

-Excellent communication and influencing skills

-The motivation to work in a progressive and team orientated environment

-Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
