Business Analyst - SAP

Manchester, United Kingdom, GB - Information Technology and Services

Prestigious opportunity with a pioneering market leader for a SAP Business Analyst with project management capability! As one of our Business Analysts you will be responsible for providing analytical direction for application and technology that impacts a number of key business areas primarily Payment Services, Finance, HR, Payroll and Financial reporting. We are looking for a SAP Business Analyst to establish and develop processes and procedures across technology in line with the requirements of the business. The successful individual will be inquisitive and hungry to learn and progress. You will be responsible for evaluating and modifying existing technology and migrating to SAP to take into account changes in business requirements. IT sits across the group globally and as such in this role you will be responsible for providing support services across the group working with key suppliers to provide assistance with change delivery and problem resolution.



The successful candidates will have:

- Business Analysis experience using either Agile or Waterfall methodology within a fast-paced environment

- Experience of providing analytical direction for applications and technology

- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of managing expectations of both internal and external customers up to Exec level

- Knowledge of working with a variety of applications, Finance, HR systems, IT, telephony systems, websites (ideally transactional websites), legal and procurement.

- SAP knowledge and experience

- Migration experience ideally to SAP is highly advantageous

- Familiar with SQL, Web Services or Java is also advantageous but not essential

- Application support or development background in preferred

- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- The ability to prioritise and work under pressure

- Enthusiasm, energy with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
