An international provider of equipment, specialist software and and services for the Oil & Gas industry is seeking a Geo-steering Specialist to apply extensive knowledge of engineering, geological theory, and previous experience in well placement to provide consulting services and technical support to internal and external customers.

As a Geo-steering consultant, you will apply your technical expertise for the planning, execution and post-well analysis of horizontal wells where GeoSteering Services are being utilized or have the potential to be implemented.

This role will also involve:

• Modeling offset data to determine the feasibility of geo-steering within reservoirs within given geological / physical constraints and to recommend best applications for success;


• Monitoring real-time data, provide real-time interpretation and execute directional decisions to ensure proper placement of the borehole within a specific target;


• Working with the client’s G&G team and provide consulting and advice for the client in order to ensure maximum performance;


• Communications – Must be able to communicate with various levels of drilling and G&G personnel.
